Owner's verdict

Experience with the car: Common fuel consumption is about 45mpg if you drive carefully in mainly rural areas. Hyundai have informed me that this is quite acceptable though I had been led to believe that 50 - 60 mpg was expected. Very disappointing!

Experience with onderhoud (official dealership): Apparently nothing to be done about excessive fuel consumption.

Antwoord: Promised fuel consumption 60mpg plus.

I usually get very good mpg on my cars but cannot improve on 44 mpg even though I drive carefully on rurual raods with very little urban driving. Hugely disappointing! Hyundai say 44mpg is quite acceptable.

A big shame as car is quite good otherwise though starting to have problems with failure to start!
